Balayage is a French colouring technique that was developed in the 1970s.The French meaning of Balayage is "to sweep” and is known for the way it displays soft highlights rather than a sharp stripy look. I was disappointed with the seamless tape-in extensions. The black tape is very noticeable near the hairline and honestly looks like regular tape, which makes it look unnatural. I actually think the regular tape-in extensions look much better around the roots.
This version may have more hair and look fuller overall, but the visible tape completely ruins the seamless effect. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering this type again.
